XingGuang Lighting has strong LED lighting R&D team, more than 20 engineers, 8 production lines, and 4 high speed SMT machines, 8000 square meters dust-free factory, over 500 workers. As the professional LED tube manufacturer, we took the lead in passing the ISO9001 quality management system and ISO14001 environment system authentication in the semiconductor lighting industry. Our LED tube have passed the provincial, municipal and national authoritative organization's detection and received the international professional authentication including CE, RoHS, SGS and FCC certified.

Understanding LED Tube

LED Tube Light
LED tube light is new indoor lighting product. They boast better color rendering, require less maintenance, and burn out less frequently with up to 50,000 lifetime hours. With special circuit design and heat dissipation, the LED tube light can achieve high luminous efficacy, energy saving, long lifespan, high lumens, no flickering and high CRI. Applied with new type of LED, the tube has the same or even more light output compared with fluorescent tube without reflector or flick when starting.

Understanding LED Tube Sizes. LED tube T5, T8, T12, What do they mean?
Actually, T stands for the diameter of the LED tube, and each T represents one-eighth inch. So T8, the most familiar LED tube to us, is one inch (eight times one-eighth inch) in diameter. One inch equals 25.4mm. Therefore, the diameter of T8 is 25.4mm. T12 means that the diameter of fluorescent tube is 12 / 8 inches. The diameter of T5 LED tubes is 0.625 inches.

LED Tube Color Temperature

LED Tube Color Temperature
When replacing or installing overhead lighting, it’s important to understand color temperature so that you have consistent lighting across an area. The 3000 Kelvin T8 bulbs have a similar yellow glow to halogen bulbs. The 4100 Kelvin T8 bulbs are considered a cool white with color output similar to clear metal halides. This is the recommended color temperature for offices and work-spaces. 5000 Kelvin T8 bulbs are a daylight equivalent with a bluer glow than traditional lighting. A daylight color temperature is recommended for display areas, high security areas, and garages. The color (CCT) of our LED tubes ranges from a warm yellow white (2700K) to a cool blue white (7500K).
